Just to clarify about my replicas, I've build them for me and a friend and I'm not selling them. It's not my intention to try to sell replicas and the technic I use is expensive so it's more like a personal delirium. I've try to find a way to get something as close as the originals for the rarest villains as you probably know that they are really expensive and close to impossible to find.

As you have see in my collection, I'm focusing on Popy Machinders, trying to get as much as possible, but for the moment I've make a few exceptions like I have the U5 instead of the real Popy and also the HK bootleg instead of the real D17 same for Golion, the LJN for the moment. I guess I will try to get the originals one day but for the moment I want to focus on finding a few rare ones like Spartan K5, who's not that hard to find in the villains but somehow I've lost a huge amount of auctions for that one and I'm desperate to find it. I also would like to find the Daidenjin to complete my Robot Factory set, patience will be the key for that one also as he's not showing that often.

I saw that you where talking about the Spazer, well, I'm almost sure that I will not have a clean one as they sell for far too much for me, so my only hope is to find one that need to be fixed or completed.

How about you guys? What are your focus, your dream jumbo??????

Some of these Jumbos are easy to find on Yahoo Japan and not that expensive like a loose T28 or a Combattler V, of course a Voltes V and a Spazer are more of a challenge and I think that I'm super lucky to have been able to restore a Voltes V, he was like shit and with a lot of work I was able to make him look nice in the dislay case.

My Ultramens are not in super mega clean shape, the Leo has some stickers wear and the Taro also and the back of his head is a bit broken, but those are quite hard to find so I'm ok with them like that. But both my Kamen Riders are super clean

One of the rare bootleg I really want to find one day is the Titan, I really love the white and red combination on that one. Seems like a lot of Italian collectors have it since it was an "Italy Only" Jumbo, but it looks even more hard now to find it.

About the Robot Factory, I'm really confuse about those because when I've start collecting, almost nobody wanted them and it was easy to find a Battle Fever for cheap, now they're almost one of the most expensive line and it's hard find them. I've been really lucky for mine and had to restore completely a Daltanious, the only way for me to get one for a decent price.

Any interest in the villains? Or you focus on pure Robot?

mike, did uou like also 1989 bandai ultraman and Baltan jumbo?

I'm not a big fan of the Baltan. I use to get a few non-Popy Jumbos in the begining of my collection but then I've switch and focus only on the Popy, mainly because I really like the style of them, all the Heroes are really straight and geometric, with simple shapes and bright colors. And recently I've start to like more and more the villains, but even them have a nice design and a strong aesthetic with nice proportions almost like a SD version of the original character as opposite to the Baltan who's too close to the original character for me.
I really like the interpretation and vision of the Popy designers, the way they have transpose characters from anime and series into toys.

I Villains non mi interessano...mi piacerebbe avere solo Garada..
Amo tutti i robot jumbo Machinder....Popy ,Shogun Warriors,Fewture Giant e Bootleg..
Tra i Bootleg il mio preferito è il Mazinger Z Morel..brutto ma bello

Funny that you don't like the Astrorobots, pure Italian insanity, I really love the bright colors of those guys. A full green Jumbo, a yellow one, a heavy red, they really stand out I think.

As for Garada, well, if you have follow a bit or read my blog, you know how crazy I am about that guy. He's really a big mystery for me and I really would like to solve it one day.

For the bootleg, that's really the dark side for me, there's some that I reall like and find interesting, but I'm honestly always surprise to see a bootleg sell for much much more than an original toy.

Not sure what the Mazinger Morel is, is this the Argentinan freek??
